The Business Outreach Center has a variety of programs available (and under development) for those seeking a general or specialized business education without the requirement to formally enroll in a degree program.
The UNLV College of Business employs over 90 full time faculty members in accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, and information systems. It is the only business school in southern Nevada accredited by AACSB International - the oldest and largest accrediting body for business schools.
Registrations closing for fall Business Essentials program. The UNLV College of Business will begin fall classes in its Business Essentials program on September 23. Registrations close on September 15. Leading to an Executive Certificate in Business Administration, the program has been specially developed for business people without the time or preparation for a traditional degree program. Business Essentials Graduates Its First Class The first graduates from the Business Essentials program received their certificates from Dean Paul Jarley and Vice Provost Richard Lee in a ceremony on August 20. 11 February 2008 Bank of Nevada Sponsorship.
The Bank of Nevada has generously agreed to sponsor the UNLV Master Series - a program of seminars and workshops that will bring local, national, and international experts to UNLV to discuss cutting-edge topics in business and law.
